What should you look for in an internet business training program? There is an abundance of training programs out there, so how do you choose one? Here are some things to consider.

First, determine your budget. There are many valuable free resources out there, but in most cases, you get what you pay for. Free resources provide valuable information, but you will not find the personal attention and coaching you will find in paid programs.

Second, consider what you want to learn. Do you want a good all around program? Or do you want to focus on marketing? Be specific with what you want to get out of the program and be sure they cover the topics you need.

Finally, research the reputation of the company. It is important to go with a reputable company. Don't discard a company based on one bad review-remember, you can't make everyone happy. If possible find out what the specific complaint was and see if this is a common thing for the company or was it a one time situation?

Many people looking to start a business should consider finding a good company to work with that has a good internet business training program. If you want to market your own product or already have a business in mind, consider a coaching program such as the one offered by Loral Langemeier or a free program such as the one offered by Dani Johnson. It is important to educate yourself and learn from your mentors to cut down on your personal learning curve.

Question by jenny: What is the difference between a driver education and driver training program?
im trying to figure out what i need to do to get my permit, i live in Califonia, and on the DMV website it says :
--Have completed a driver education and driver training program.
--Have completed driver education and are currently taking driver training.
--Are currently taking an approved combination driver education/driver training program.
------------You will have to show appropriate documentation.
.
so whats the difference of driver education and training? (first bullet)
im a little confused so some clarification would be great, thank you :)

Driver's Education is a class that covers all of the rules on the road without actually getting out there. Its basically an overview with just pencil and paper. Driver's Training is actually getting in a car and gaining experience in driving before taking a driving test.

Question by star runner: Can I do the Air Force training program in college to get free training then quit?
Can I do the Air Force training program in college to get free training then quit? I'm thinking of doing AFROTC through sophomre year and the six week field training boot camp. Get tough military training and then quit with no commitment. Opinions?

Answer by Kekionga
Yes you can...

Once you have done that, don't be surprised if the MP's stop and haul your but to military prison to serve out your time that you obligated for to receive the training in the first place....

So, you CAN, but you won't.

g-day!

Question by supercool73: What kind of shoes should I use for a broad training program?
I am doing a broad training program right now. I lift weights, do some street running, track running, jump rope, and train in the martial arts. I am also starting trail/woods running. I move from one type of exercise to the other.

Is there any kind of shoe I can wear that will provide me with the correct support for weight lifting, running on different surfaces, AND agility training?

Thanks

Question by mhfarrell79: Does anyone know of a good 15K training program?
I have been running for about a year and have run in many 5Ks/4 milers and a couple of 10Ks. This year I would like to do two 15Ks. Does anyone know of a good 15K training program?

Best answer:

Answer by nameless
in my opinion the best training program is purely to run, but if you need a 15k program you could probably use a half marathon training program and just shorten the distances by 20%

Question by : What is the preliminary swim test like for the lifeguard training program?
Tomorrow I start a lifeguard training program but to continue with the class I must pass a preliminary swim test first. I'm doing the program at my local Y in Suffolk county on long island, NY. I was wondering what the test is like and what I have to do to pass. I'm an ok swimmer but my last time swimming was probably during the summer. But it's not like I can't swim at all, so yeah. Also do I need to do the butterfly?

Best answer:

Answer by swimchick94
"To successfully pass the full Lifeguarding course, you must be able to demonstrate the following skills:

-Swim 300 yards continuously, using these strokes in the following order:

-100 yards of front crawl using rhythmic breathing and a stabilizing, propellant kick. Rhythmic breathing can be performed either by breathing to the side or to the front.100 yards of breaststroke using a pull, breathe, kick and glide sequence.100 yards of either the front crawl or breaststroke. The 100 yards may be a combination of front crawl and breaststroke. Starting in the water, swim 20 yards using front crawl or breaststroke, surface dive 7- 10 feet, retrieve a 10-pound object, return to the surface, swim 20 yards back to the starting point with the object and exit the water without using a ladder or steps, within 1 minute, 40 seconds.

If your swimming skills are not strong, but you can swim at least 50 yards and walk the brick test requirement, it may be possible to receive a Shallow Water Lifeguarding card. At any time in the future if you swimming skills increase to the level of deep-water requirements, we will issue the Professional Lifeguarding card that will allow you to guard at both deep water and shallow water pools at no additional cost."

Question by AMBER F: What can you learn from taking a ethics training program or class?
I need some help here, what can you learn from taking an ethics training program or class?

Best answer:

Answer by Onora
You can learn some of the following:

... to think about what we mean by good and evil

... to consider how we arrive at a judgment of right or wrong

... to explore the concepts of vice and virtue

... to grapple with the concept of justice.

And while you are discussing these things you will realize how difficult it is to be precise about some of them and also that they may not be absolute values e.g. what is considered to be justice in one community may not be so in another.

You will also be giving your brain its most rigorous 'work-out'!

Question by Yesum Captain: Do you have to be a certain age before you can enroll in the OSHA 30 Hour Training Program?
Also, can you take the OSAH training program at somewhere as opposed to doing it online?

Best answer:

Answer by Kimberly
Not sure about the age, but yes, you can usually take it in a classroom setting as well. I'm not sure how they work it, because when my company did it, they had the instructors come there and do it.

I however did it online. I would probably recommend doing it that way. It can be very tedious, because you have to move at a certain pace -- you can't move through 30 hours of training in, say, 29 hours. So even if you move through the units quickly, you're still stuck having to kill time on screens to eat up the 30 hours. That was my main problem. I read quickly, so I would find myself having to take unwanted breaks in between each section just to fill the required minutes.

But, on the flip side, I wasn't having to sit through it for 8 hours straight. I was able to take breaks when it felt like my brain was going to start melting. As long as you have it done by the due date, you can spend as much -- or as little -- time as you want.
